Crown Him King
on the 19th-20th of September 2009
By Apostle Ngabo
Rosh Hashana is in the month of Tishrei, This is the 1st day in the 7th month according to the Hebrew calendar.
In this month we crown God as our King which means that when Rosh Hashana comes we acknowledge God as the offspring of everything we own, possess and the very source of our lives.
Abraham after embracing all the good promises of God, receiving them and possessing them by faith, he also had to crown God as king, with the same son of his promise.
In the season of Rosh Hashana Abraham took his son, Isaac on mount Moriah to sacrifice him and give him up as a crown of glory.
In Genesis 22:7-8, Isaac spoke to his father as they were going up on mount Moriah and he said “Father look, the fire and the wood, but where is the lamb for a burnt offering?” and then his father Abraham said to him; “Son the Lord will provide for Himself the lamb for a burnt offering, which means in ‘Hebrew, Jehovah Jireh.
On this season of Rosh Hashana, when you take the crown of your glory and crown God with it, then you provoke the nature of God that goes by the name of Jehovah Jireh (The Lord will provide) to move on your behalf.
