Remember that each day you read only one omer and after reading you then have to focus on the perfection of that emotion for that day. And on the next day, you go to the next omer, for example; if you are on day 1, the next day will be day 2 or omer day 2.
From day 1 to the last day of the omer counting, it takes 50 days, that is equivalent to 7 weeks, and the 50th day will be the day of Pentecost.
