The month of Elul

Month of Elul

By Apostle Ngabo
The beginning will declare the end, in other words, the beginning establishes the end.
Do you really want to find out the secret to your spiritual prosperity? Then you need to pay more attention to what you are about to read.

Genesis 2:5-8 says that God formed Adam out of the dust in a place that was without any plantation and there was nothing in existence at that time apart from Adam and his creator.

Genesis 2; between the verse of 7 and 8, God spent 40 days with Adam, before he physically gave him a physical garden with plants and food that could sustain his physical body. In simple terms, this means that God (Hasham) spent 40 days and 40 nights with Adam, before He actually brought him into his physical prosperity (a garden with all the riches, the spiritual sustainances that he needed).

Jeremiah 2:2-3 prophetically reveals what took place between God and Adam, when the scripture says that….. I remember you the kindness of your youth (the stage in a persons life when he or she is obsessed and possessed with what he believes in), the love of your betrothal, when you went after Me in the wilderness, in a land not sown…

Now according to the Hebrew calendar, this will be the beginning of the 6th month called Elul, when God breathed the breath of life in Adam. 30 days from that time , brings you into the month of Tishrei ( the 7th month on the Hebrew calendar), when God started to make the garden in Eden, the wild ground bare fruit (becomes civil, domestic oriented and fruitful) that's Genesis 2:8-15.

Now from that time, when you count 10 days it brings you into one of the most powerful seasons of God called Yom Kippur in Hebrew, in English being the day of atonement.

All together from the time God formed Adam to the time He gives him the commandment saying; Do not eat from the tree of knowledge of good and evil, (the tree of tithe), that comes to 40 days and 40 nights.

So what am I trying to say?

Kabalisticaly this means; that in the beginning of the sixth month, Adam is put in a barren, wild earth, without life or vegetation.
After spending time in prayer, seeking the one who created him, 30 days after (the period of a Hebrew month), the ground starts to become fruitful.

Then 10 days from that time, God turns around and says to Adam; this garden that has manifested as a result of you seeking after Me with all your heart for these 40 days, Yes Adam; this same garden and everything that is in it, all things exist for a purpose in this garden, and the ultimate purpose of this garden is that you must give Me the tenth percent , the tithe (the tree of knowledge of good and evil).

It's fruits belongs to Me, but you must be willing to surrender them to Me.
And for the first time in Adam's life with his creator on the earth for 40 days and 40 nights, he gets to see the other side of God, which is hard, strict and judging, when God suddenly says to Adam………..for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die (Genesis 2:17).

On the 10th day in the month of Tishrei,( The7th month of the Hebrew calendar), on that day of Yom Kippur (the Day of Atonement), Adam enters in a covenant with God, binding himself to the principle of tithe, and on that same day, God also promised to give Adam life (revelation, wisdom, prosperity and Godly fellowship) that will be birthed out of the fulfilment of his obedience towards this commandment of tithe.
