How can the 7th month be the month when God begins His New Year?

Answer:

Greetings!

Concerning your question below, yes it is true, the 29th of September 2008 will mark the beginning of the month of Tishrei (the 7th month on the Hebrew or God's calendar, beginning of a new Jewish year).

Notice, that God's calendar and the calendar that we use in the world are two different calendars.

Let me hope that this explanation will give your answer?

The 7th month according to the Hebrew, God's calendar is the beginning of the civil year (which means that it's the beginning of the agricultural year when plants, trees and things like gold, precious stones etc,

that God put in the ground of the earth starts to become fruitful towards man, read Genesis 2:8-16).

This season is also called the new beginning of the Jewish civil year or the head of the year called in Hebrew Rosh Hashanah, the Hebrew word Rosh Hashanah is made up of two words, "Rosh" meaning head and "Hashanah" meaning the year, (Rosh-Hashanah is the head of the year or the beginning of the civil year).

The 7th month called Tishrei, is a time when God releases new energies into peoples' lives and physical nature.

Rosh Hashanah falls on the 1st day of the 7th month called Tishrei.

Tishrei means to begin or the beginning and it is also the beginning of the civil or agricultural year when the spiritual energies, which advances and develops agriculture and the human life of the earth, is released from the spiritual realm into the physical realm.

When your look back into time you will find out that this is the same season (7th month) when God commanded Abraham to take his son Isaac to sacrifice him on mount Moriah (Genesis 22:1-18).

Did you know that in this same 7th month (as in 1 Kings 8:1-2, 2 Chronicles 7:10 & 1 Kings 10:14-25) is the same season when the temple of Solomon was finished, and this is the same temple that attracted the kings of all the nations to come to offer their gold and riches towards this temple that Solomon built?,

but also the scripture says unto us that; your body is the temple of the holy spirit (1 Corinthians 3:16).

So from the 6th month of Elul, we prepare ourselves (body, which is God's temple) through prayer, repentance, forgiveness, mercy towards those who have wronged us and those that we are in relationship with and also this is a time of giving of our financial help into God's ministry that the holy spirit leads us to give into,

so that when the 7th month begins we will spiritually be ready to accommodate God's blessings for the coming new year, because the way you begin the year, determines the way you will finish it.

When you begin your Hebrew year on God's calendar exalting God, you will also finish it exalting Him, and at the same time God will also be exalting you through your undertakings until you finish that year.

Let me finish by saying this; that the world calendar begins its new year in the 1st of January, which comes after the circle of 12 months on the Gregorian calendar, now, when you compare that with God's calendar it doesn't make sense,

Why does God use the number 7 (7th month on the Hebrew calendar) to declare the beginning of his new year or civil year?

You see the secret is also revealed in the beginning, Genesis 1:1-31 & Genesis 2:1-3 tell us how God worked for 6 days and rested in the number 7 and He also released His blessing (energies which governs nature, the human body and agriculture), and the power to sanctify or to make people's lives spiritually clean and fruitful was also concealed in within this number 7.

Deuteronomy 15:1-2 says; every seventh year, (in the number 7) you shall grant a release (meaning that every creditor, money lender, etc) will have to release his clients from their debts.

Leviticus 25:9-10 says; then you shall cause the trumpet (rams horn) to sound on the tenth day of the Seventh month….and it shall be a Jubilee (debt canceling, redemption from vows and slavery) for each of you shall return to his possession, and each of you shall return to his family (things, lands, asserts and possessions that have been stolen from you must be restored).

The number 7 prophetically declares over those that follow God's calendar that we are not slaves, neither debtors to this world, but we are created to be the head and not the tail, to be above and not beneath, to be the lender and not the borrower as in Deuteronomy 28:12-12.

But because the evil leaders of the world have desired to rule, to control, and to make human beings slaves to their system, so they decided to change God's times and written law from God's calendar to their own world calendar as in Daniel 7:25.

Just imagine? if all those that believe in God would start to acknowledge God's seasons and calendar, then this also means that the economic system of the world will have to go into bankrupts (a physical transaction of the riches of the wicked will be transferred into the hands of the righteous),

Just like the incident that took place when the children of Israel left Egypt bankrupt, taking all their gold, silver and riches as in Exodus 12:35-37.

We have known people that God has miraculously cancelled their debts, people who are no longer enslaved by those who oppress them just because they have learnt how to apply God's calendar into their own lives.

So Claim this seventh month that begins on the 29 of September of 2008 to be your number 7 and a new beginning into your life.
