Questions

Why are my prayers going unanswered?

I pray, and I am faithful to God, at least I think I am, but why are my prayers going unanswered?

ANSWER:

My answer to you is that you need to catch Jesus Christ our Lord and His father God in the same presence (agreement of both), so that your prayers may be able to manipulate their favor towards you.

Remember that prayers is divided up in these three levels, ask, seek and knock ( Matthew 7:7 ). There are things that are given through prayer, because you simply ask, and there are things that are given because you seek (applying the right principles through obedience, so that you may get something), and there are prayers that are answered because you knock (possessing the full character of the kingdom, so that you may possess the promise of the kingdom).

For example, there are things my children will ask for from their mother, and they will simply be given to them because they asked, and there are things that they will ask for from their mother, and then their mother will send them to me, when they come to me; I don't give them a straight yes or no answer, but I just refer them back to their mother.

In a such situations, our children have become wise to understand that there are things they won't receive from us because they asked, but for them to be able to receive what they are asking for, they must first catch us in the same presence (things that we have decided to give them after we have both agreed as parents, depending on, if we both think that this child is worthy to be given or not).

And there are things that they ask for sometimes because of curiosity, things like; Can I also get to drive our car like daddy does? And then we have to explain to them that first of all you have to be of a certain age to even attempt or desire such a thing, and second of all you must be legal (have a driving license or an authorized document) for you to drive in any place you want with this car.

This is also applicable in your prayer life, because when you were young in the Lord, most of your prayers were answered because of Jesus' compassion towards you, even though you did not deserve them. And then there are prayers that won't be answered until you start to apply godly principles in your life (things like sowing and being faithful towards a ministry or ministries through covenant relationship).

And also there is a third dimension, where prayers won't be answered until you learn how to honour and respect covenant relationship, in simple words, i mean; you must have people that speak God's word over your life and also teach you, rebuke you and corect you when ever its spiritually needed, because when you have such a spiritual covering over your life, that can increase the spiritual strength of your prayers and also get your prayers answered in a time of need.

James 4: 6-7says; God resists the proud, But gives grace to the humble. Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.

Psalm 50:14-15 says;.....pay your vows (your good deeds, tithes, and offerings) to the most High. call upon Me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall glorify Me.

Acts 10:31 says; .... Cornelius, your prayer has been heard, and your alms (your giving into God's people and ministries) are remembered in the sight of God.

The word prayer means; relating to God's emotions in a given season or circumstance. but also this same word prayer means; to be able to fulfill a need on earth so that in return you get your needs answered and fulfilled from heaven by God.

Don't ask God to change your husband or family, when you have deliberately refused to obey His servants that He sends to you, every time you obey God's voice that comes to you through His servants (teachers, ministers, prophets etc) and do what is required from you, you expose your prayers into the realm of getting answered.
