Apostle; where in the bible are we forbidden to keep Easter?
ANSWER:
The pagan worshipers decided to put their feast of Easter exactly at the same time or season when God also has His season of Passover, (Passover falls in the season of spring, and also Easter falls into the same season.)
We have got two different seasons one from the kingdom of darkness (Easter) and the other from the kingdom of light or God (being Passover). And every spring when these seasons occur you literary can see a clear counterfeit between the sons of light and darkness.
Passover is a season that God has always used to redeem his people and to begin to move them into their divine purpose, but also the wicked one Satan (the word wicked means; to twist, to pervert, to counterfeit, to contradict or to influence someone into doing the opposite).
1 Corinthians 10:119-22 Apostle Paul advices the church of Corinth to stop having fellowship with demons and to stop worshiping idols and eating things sacrificed to idols during this season of Easter.
He went on to say to this church that; when they kept this day claiming that it was the day of Christ's resurrection, and because of this belief, many Christians used to gather together to do holy communion (drinking from the cup and breaking bread as sign of remembrance of Jesus' resurrection on Easter), and because of this Apostle Paul declared unto them that were drinking from the cup and eating from the table of demons.
In 1 Corinthians 10:14-18 He urges the church to flee from idolatry and begin to keep the Passover instead, He spoke to them as a Jew or an Israelite from the tribe of Benjamin and he said; the cup of blessing which we bless on every Jewish Passover, is it not the communion of the blood of Christ? The bread which we break called matzos bread, is it not the body of Christ…observe Israel (Jewish nation) after the flesh : are not those who eat of the sacrifice partakers of the altar?
What Apostle Paul was saying in this scripture is that we should look at Israel (Jewish nation) and learn from what they are doing physically during the season of Passover.
1 Corinthians 5:7 says; for indeed Christ, our Passover was crucified for us, therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven (old pagan traditions) …
Not only is Easter forbidden for the Christians to keep, but it is also a season where people's lives are influenced by demons and all kinds of evil behaviors.
