What is democracy?
ANSWER:
Democracy was a systematic movement that derived from the theory of the Greeks empire in 5 th -4 th century BC, and their main purpose for inventing this movement of democracy was to promote human rights.
The first principle of democracy is that all members of the society have equal access to power, and the second is; that all members enjoy universally recognized freedoms and liberties.
Which simply means that all citizens from all different cultures and nations (gays, idol worshipers, child molesters, terrorists, religious folks, witches, good and bad people with different beliefs) were given the right of freedom as long as your freedom does not interfere with some one else's' interests, well; this sounds like a good idea; but my question is; In which category does this idea of democracy put God's will for man?
In those days when the Greeks where in power during the time of the Greek empire called Hellenistic, the Greeks considered themselves to be the most wise and intellectual human beings on earth, that did not need any other wisdom to explain why human being exists, so through their wisdom they came up with an idea that says; “as long as a human being is given a chance to expresses his own interests and experience his own pleasures in life, through this experience humanity can be able to achieve freedom and live in unity with one another on the earth”.
But their idea was coming across an opposition that was also an insult to their intellect, and that was the nation of the Jews (Israel) that seemed to do things that claims; no! No matter how wise a human being becomes, still this human being is a creation of God, and he still needs to live for God and do the things that pleases God, and anything that does not please God is evil. Now; the only problem that they had that could not allow them to establish their idea of democracy as the solution to world unity was this nation of Jews that was worshiping the true living God.
Really, What is democracy?
Democracy is the uniting of different cultures, people, and nations that are in a pursuit of joining their strength (gifts, and talents) together for the sake of sharing and enjoying their interests together so that they may be able to reach the highest level of a human state that will be able to prove that; “we can do anything we desire with out the authority and the supremacy of God instructing us on how to do it”
The first type of a democratic movement that is clearly stated in God's word (bible) was the building of the tower of Babel .
The scripture says in Genesis 10:9 and Genesis 11:1-6; that God came down to see what men were up to, and He found them with one united purpose and goal, trying to build the tower of Babel under the authority of the man called Nimrod, and their main aim was to build the tower that will reach into the universe (heaven) so that they may over throw God's purpose and will for humanity in the earth.
