Is there anything wrong with keeping Christmas and Easter?
Because some say that these are pagan feasts, but as far as I know my heart is right and I do it in remembrance of our Lord Jesus, can you please explain this to me?
ANSWER:
Did you know that because of lack of knowledge (lack of being connected to the full understanding of knowledge, lack of physical intimacy with the knowledge of God) that's why people perish?
Now, when I say to you; remember what happened, what do I really mean by telling you to remember?
Do I mean that, you should begin to imagine things (the word imagine meaning; to build up idols in your mind, and to make up unrealistic ideas with your mind) or do I mean that you should bring back in memory the incident that took place at that given time, place and environment that I am trying to get you to bring to remembrance?
Jesus, our Lord in Luke 22:5-19 says; do this in remembrance of Me, meaning that we should keep the Passover and do the Holy communion (drinking of His blood and eating of His body) in remembrance of Him.
The word remembrance meaning: as you do what you are doing, you bring in memory, you revive or you bring back in existence the spiritual environment that enabled Jesus, our Lord to humble Himself and give Himself as a sacrifice,
and also as a result of His sacrifice, this provoked the spiritual and activated God's power to go forth and resurrect Yeshua, our Lord in this same season of Passover.
Now, when God commands us to do things in this season of passover, He is also telling us to remember, to bring in memory, to bring that spiritual environment of that season into our lives,
as we obediently keep that holy season by doing what is spiritually required from us, the result of our obedience is the manifestation of a miracle.
Yeshua our Lord didn't resurrect from the dead because he claimed to be the son of God, neither did this miracle occur because He was attending some mega church in the state of California,
but the miracle of His resurrection took place because He was remembering to keep God's holy seasons (like the Sabbath, the Passover, etc..).
Today, we have a bunch of Christians who are just living on miracles, and going around worshipping these miracles, and they are forgetting to remember what provoked these miracles into existence.
Have you ever asked yourself, that how come easter is celebrated almost in the same way, always connected to witchcraft (people dressing up in witche's costumes, pretending to fly on brooms and all this rubbish). Easter has it's origin from the worship of a goddess.
As they sacrificed young babies to this idol (goddess), blood used to run down from the hands of this idol where the babies were killed, and from there it ran down between the legs of this idol where easter eggs were put, and this blood painted all the eggs red.
But you might say to me; when I keep easter I do it with a good heart (remembering Jesus).
Yes! That is what you think you are doing, but you are deceived, because you are just bringing in remembrance (giving life) to what easter is all about, (no wonder, people always ends up in bad relationships with evil people), because that's what they are giving life to.
In this season of Passover , God brought Lot out of Sodom and Gomorrah after Lot had kept this season Genesis 19:1-3.
God sent an angel to Joshua that will fight for them as they possess the land after keeping the Passover. Joshua 5:10-15.
In this season God also delivered His people from Egypt, Exodus 12:17.
Jesus our Lord was also obedient to this season, Luke 22:15-20. AS they KEPT the Passover they also brought to remembrance (accepting the existence) and the spiritual environment that comes with it, and then all over a sudden a miracle of deliverance took place.
