Do I really need to tithe?

Is it not enough with the Sunday offering that I give when I can, I mean; do I really need to tithe?

Some people say that tithing symbolizes our obedience to God; some say it's the way that we reveal our love to Him. Is that true?

 

ANSWER:

Before I answer your question, first listen to this; did you know that, God created every person on earth with a strong desire in within  their soul, that makes them to automatically give their tithe, to the things that they consider to be the purpose of their existence in life?

For example; before somebody becomes a murderer, he first gives his tithe to the process that will finally bring him in the place of becoming a murderer.

Look at some body who commits adultery, he also had to give his tithe first to the process that finally transformed him into a person that goes a round destroying other people's marriages.

The things that people mostly spend their money on, (their money being their strength, their affection, their thought life and time, that they spent before getting that money) this also becomes their tithe,

that reflects their strong desire to become that thing that they are tithing into or spending their money on.

The word tithe means; to pay tribute or to give honor, reverence, and affection to the things that you consider to be important in life, also the word tithe means;

the implanting of a character (desire, motivation, zeal, revelation, ability, and vision) into some body's soul through his obedience to this principal of giving him or herself into some thing that he or she desires to become.

So, when God says that; He wants your tithe (putting your money into a place or ministry that is bringing God's purpose or will into your life and the earth,) this also means that' God is not after your money,

but! He is after your strength, time, ideas, inspiration, talent, and affection that you have put into the process of getting that money.

Tithe is your very first step of faithfulness towards God.

Because when you take your time to count your income, so that you may give exactly the tenth percent of what you earn, this focuses your physical energies and thought life to the reason why you are tithing.

Now; when God becomes real to you and a live in this area of your life (being faithful with your tithe to God) this also means that you won't have a problem of overcoming these other task masters (evil habits) that have been consuming your tithe.

Remember that every evil habit that people entertain in life is supported and given legal right into their lives through their financial income.
