The stranger asked ; What are you shooting at?

One day a Master took arrows and a bow, and gave it to his servant. And out of great excitement, the servant who had desired to own a bow, so that he may be able to shoot at things, at last he had an opportunity of owning one.

So; without wasting time he ran off with his bow and arrows to look for a place where he may shot at anything that looked like a target for shooting at.

After many years of shooting, this routine of shooting started to become a boring system of works that are purposeless and time wasting, and on the top of that he could not find meaning in the things that he was shooting at.

After a process of time, when he had even started meditating about giving up his hobby, all of a sudden there came a man who asked him; What are you shooting at?

And he answered; I am shooting arrows.

and the stranger asked him; Why are you shooting the arrows for? I mean what are you aiming at? He answered; I am shooting at anything that looks good to shoot at.

The stranger said unto him; But you must have a good reason why you are shooting?

And the man with the bow said; My Master gave me this bow and arrows and I decided to come out here and shoot.

So the stranger said; Listen to me my friend; do what I am advising you, and you will find peace and purpose in what you are doing. Go back to your master and ask Him; From which place do you want me to shoot your arrows? And also ask Him what you should  be shooting His arrows at.

And the guy with the bow said; You know what? I never thought about asking my Master about what I should be shooting at, or where I should be doing it from, I really thought I knew what I was doing!

So the stranger said unto him; You know what my friend? Everything we do on earth has a purpose and a motive, we can either be doing things from our selfish motives, or we could be doing things from the authority of our Master's commands, so; go back to your Master and ask Him, where you should be shooting your bow from , and what you should be shooting His arrows at.

The scripture in Deuteronomy 12:5 says; but you shall seek the place where the Lord your God chooses, out of all your tribe to put His name for His dwelling place , and there you shall go with you offerings.

Deuteronomy 12:11 says; then there will be the place where the Lord your God chooses to make His name abide , there you shall bring all that I command you….your sacrifices, your tithes, the heave offerings of your hand, and all choice offerings which you vow to the Lord. Verse 13 gives you a warning; take heed to your self that you do not offer your burnt offering in every place that you see.

So my question is, from which place (ministry, vision, spiritual covering) are you shooting you arrows (offering and tithes) from? And for what purpose (aim) are you shooting the arrows for?
