Love is an excitement and an overwhelming feeling that comes into someone's life, from something that is said, done or revealed, to the point where the person that has heard , seen and experienced the event is willing to give up and sacrifice what he loves, so that he may be able to posses and obtain that experience the rest of his life.
Love is the ability to be able to exchange who you are for the sake of a relationship.
When Abraham took his only beloved son on mount Moriah to sacrifice him according to God's command, it was because he himself had fallen in love with what God had said, done and revealed into his life, to the point where he was willing to use what he physically valued, so that he may fulfil and become what God has promised.
People always ask me; Apostle how can I increase my faith and love for God?
And I always answer them by asking this question; If you are going to go to the doctor for help, what do you take with you? what do you always take with you to the places where you are going to meet the people that will make the dream of your life come true?
I have found out that the only way love can be developed and possessed in peoples lives is by learning how to be wiling to exchange who you are for the sake of love.
You can never criticize, gossip, doubt, condemn, falsely judge or act selfishly towards the ones you love, because when you are in love, you become blind.
Everything good said, done and revealed about the one you love is the truth, and you consider it to be of value and worth to exchange and give whatever you have for the sake of love.
If you are still doubting, complaining, listening to gossip, entertaining companies that speak evil about the one you claim to be in love with, that means you do not love them, because love compels you to give and love rejects, rebukes, corrects and refuses to entertain the evil reports against the one you love.
If you are drawn and attracted to people who speak about God in a way that seems to emphasise more on how God wants to fulfil your needs (telling you all the miracles and good things that God is going to do for you), but they never teach or tell you that God wants you to change, to be holy and to live a sacrificial life for Him, Iam sorry to say this; you are still in love with yourself, because true love compels you to give ( you always find yourself in places where you are willing to give, to submit, to learn and change as an expression of your love to God or the one you love.
