Prophetic article
Naomi and Ruth returned back to Israel in the season of spring time:

Ruth clang unto Naomi, being the Jewish nation, but Orpah returned back home to the land of Moab, to a people who did not serve the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.

When Naomi heard that God had visited her people back in Israel, by giving them bread (spiritual and physical prosperity),

and that the famine which caused her to flee from the land of Israel, had also come to its end, she decided to return back to her own people, and nation as in Ruth 1:1-6.

During the ten years of Naomi's stay in the land of the Moabites, Naomi lost her husband and two sons.

Ruth and Orpah ; who were married to her two dead sons, also decided to return back to Israel with her.

It was in the season of spring time when Naomi decided to make her Journey back to Israel.

When Orpah realised that she could not afford to forsake her own people, tradition, culture and false gods (Ruth 1:14-15),

she decided to stay in the land of the Moabites, from whence she was born, but Ruth; being a virtuous woman with a Godly passion, she chose to cling upon Naomi as in Ruth 1:14-19.

When Naomi and Ruth returned to Israel, it was the season of Barley harvest ( Ruth 1:22 ),

the season when the offering of barley was given unto to God as a Passover offering.

In this season we also have the counting of omer, or the counting of 50 days, or the counting of seven weeks (Leviticus 22:15-17 ),

which begins around the second day of Passover ( spring time ), and finishes on the 50th day which falls on the day of Pentecost (summer time).

In this season or period of 50 days (called Omer counting ), Ruth obeyed the advice of Boaz ( Ruth 2:8 ),

and she decides to faithful serve and work, or count the omer in the fields of Boaz ( Ruth2:21-23 ),

beginning from the season of barley harvest in spring time ( Passover ), and finishing in the season of wheat harvest in summer time (Pentecost),

as it is written in the book of Ruth 2:23.

Ruth worked in Boaz's field during the season of 50days of omer counting,

which falls in the season of spring time (Passover), until summer time (Pentecost).

When Boaz the wealthy Israelite from the tribe of Judah , noticed the virtuous values of Ruth, he decided to pursue after the legal rights of marring her, and during the season of Pentecost (being the 50th day), the marriage legal rights were sealed and conformed.

Ruth became the mother of Obed, being the great grandmother of King David ( Ruth 4:13-22 ), and king David being the lineage through which our Lord Yeshua Jesus Christ descended from.
