Joseph had to speak and declare what God revealed to him about his life, so that he may provoke his brothers to jealousy (Genesis 37:5-11).
When you start to be so secretive about what God is revealing to you, that's when everything that God has put in within you starts to loose power and become useless and dormant in the inside of you.
There is power in sharing or speaking about God's plans and vision for your life to others.
It is easy to fit in a group of people that are going no where in life and it's also very easy to have a bunch of enemies that pretends to be your friend, but the moment you start to open up your mouth and tell your story of how God is planning to do this and that in your life, that's when those who pretend to be with you starts to show forth their true colours of hate and jealousy.
Some people usually say; it's better not to speak about what God has shown you concerning your own life, that it is even more wise to keep your mouth shut, so that envious people may not kill your dream.
But do you know what? I found out that that's also fear coming from the evil one that hinders God's people from excelling in God's way of doing things.
Did you know that your divine destiny is created (put into existence) through the words that you speak to the people that are close to you, and those that are surrounding your everyday environment?
If Joseph decided to keep quiet about God's dreams concerning his life, then this means that he had chosen to accept the false ideas and decided to compromise or keep company with people that will eventually destroy and miscarry his godly dream after a process of time.
The way to find out if you are in God's perfect will at your job, church or in what ever you are doing, start to talk about what God is showing you, and His goodness in your life.
If you start to see people resenting you, hating you and treating you as if you are the evil one because of God's word that is spoken through your mouth , that is a sign that shows that you are not welcome here, may be it's time for you to seek God so that you may find out which step God wants you to take next.
Because, reality is that; when people are willing to accept God's calling upon your life and also willing to accept God's words in your mouth, then that means that your are in God's perfect will for that season.
And for those of you who are working in secular jobs, if you have to hide God (do not reveal your faith and do not even mention God at your job) so that you may be accepted and maintain your place at work , if you can't really involve God in what you are doing through the words of your mouth, speaking about Him and boasting in His goodness) my advice for you is that run a way from that place before you completely sale your soul to the evil one.
Matthew 16:2 says; for what profit is it to a man if he gains friendship with the whole world, and looses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul.
