Meat that can cause cancer is being sold in the market
A substance that can cause cancer in the human bodies has been found to be affecting the meat that is exported from the Ireland meat industry which supplies most of the Europeans countries with meat.
Close to 100.000 pigs are going to be slaughtered, and more workers have been hired because of the trace of PCB substance that has been found in the pig meat which can cause cancer.
Ireland 's prime minister Brian Cowen sat in a meeting on Tuesday the 9thof December 2009, trying to solve the economic crisis that has befallen the meat industry.
Before the government of Ireland discovered this problem, most of this affected pig meat had been already transported and exported in some of the European countries, probably being sold and consumed by the faithful meat eaters all around Europe .
According to the Irelands agriculture department, the discoveries that have been found through the investigation of this case says; that a certain oil that was not supposed to be used in the food that feeds the animal,
was delivered and used at the farms where pigs and cows are natured for meat and milk supply before they are sold out in the market.
Pig meat that is valued to be 1 miljard kronor which is equivalent to (122.5 million US dollars) is going to be destroyed; totally this meat problem is going to cost the meat industry in Ireland 550.5 Million US dollars,
which will cause an economic crisis in the government of Ireland, and at the same time the EU commission has already informed the Ireland government that they wont be giving them any economic help, which seems to be the need of the Ireland government in this hour of crisis.
