The Shofar
What is a shofar?
A shofar (trumpet) is a kosher rams horn, gazelle horn or an antelope horn, made for blowing according to Joel 2:1.
God's people always blew the shofar for the sake of establishing Zion (God s perfect will, God s revelation) on earth.
This same shofar , when it is blown by revelation in God s seasons, it becomes God's manifested physical power that breaks down every hindrance that tries to resist God s will through His people.
In Joshua 6:4-5 , the seven priests blew the seven rams horn (shofar) and the Jericho walls came down.
In Exodus 19:16-19 the voice of God sounded like the shofar being blown and everything that was close to mount Sinai trembled.
In 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17, the voice of God, being the blown sound of a shofar that raised the dead in Christ and also raptured God's church.
Numbers 10:9-10 says; when you go to war in your land against the enemy (satan), who oppresses you , then you shall sound an alarm with the trumpets (shofar) and you will be remembered before the Lord your God, and you will be saved from your enemies.
Also in the day of your appointed feasts (Sabbath, Passover etc…) and at the beginning
of your months (New Moon) you shall blow the trumpet (shofar) over your burnt offerings, and over the sacrifices of your peace offering; and they shall be a memorial for you before your God; I am the Lord your God.
The sound of the shofar is the descending mighty power or voice of God from heaven, that breaks the evil curses of the enemy off the lives of God s people.
The sound of the shofar is also an ascending innermost cry of a human soul that comes out of a desperate need of spiritual intimacy with a desire to connect with God,
so that the spiritual thirst or hunger in operation may be quenched.
