When I am determined to accomplish and fulfill something for my self, do I become more selfish or am I open minded towards other people's ideas and contribution towards what I am doing?

Do my victories make me gracious (willing to share the secret behind my success) or do I become more bossy, using the opportunity to make others my slaves?
